My website has been giving me some trouble this week, not allowing me to upload any pictures and what is a pregnancy update without a picture? So I asked Matt to work some magic, I’m not sure if he fixed it or if its just suddenly working again but, Yay! (and thank you Matt if you fixed it!)
Pretty good considering how far along I am! I’m still taking pepcid complete everyday and so happy its still working! Its been about two weeks now and I have only been sick once! Simply amazing!
I feel like my body and baby have started preparing for labor. Not that I think I will go into labor tomorrow or anything (in fact I’m sure its possible I could be induced again) but I can feel a difference. I feel the baby lower than ever this week, which makes me notice the size of my belly more often. Also Its very apparent that although I have a ton of energy at times I need to take longer breaks and I need to take them more frequently.
What I’m craving
I really haven’t had many cravings during the pregnancy so you haven’t much on this topic but this week I have a definite craving for sweets, (mostly chocolate). I would love to sit here and say I only enjoyed a small amount of dark chocolate to get over the craving, but that would be a lie. I typically don’t keep sweets in the house but since Easter just pasted there was a chocolate bunny calling my name. Whats a girl to do? Like I said before, in my experience its more difficult than I thought to remain 100% healthy during pregnancy.
Since I know the importance of keeping a nutritionally balanced diet while being pregnant I went back to logging what I’m eating on My fitness pal a few weeks ago. Not to lose weight, but just to ensure I’m not going overboard. Even if I make a few not so healthy choices its important that I’m still getting plenty of those necessary things like protein. (It would be incredibly easy for me to live off of bread sticks alone!)
Baby girl is getting really big and strong, I can feel it in every movement, and yes she’s still moving ALL the time!
Speaking of sleeping I’m rather impressed with how well I am sleeping these days. I remember at this point when I was pregnant with Abby I was up just about every two hours! If that wasn’t bad enough It took me forever to fall back asleep. Yes I wake up a few times a night, mostly to use the bathroom, but I have been falling asleep much faster and that really makes all the difference.
I will be at 36 weeks in no time! I can’t believe it!
I hope everyone has a great weekend
